╬ TRUTH ─ A major facet of living as a true believer is living a life separated from the lifestyle of the world, the Word of God stresses this by teaching us although we “live in this world” we are not to “live according to” the world’s standard of lifestyle.
╬ ACTION ─ Be careful to avoid and continually renew your mind to reject the world’s way of thinking; the Word teaches us how we need to think the thoughts that God desires us to live by!

How intimate are you with God?
Jesus didn’t come to save those who were saved, He came for the lost and hurting!! But even in the Church there are those who are hurting that needs a spiritual, emotional and physical healing! When we get so intimate with God that we not only know Him in a deep way, but that He knows us in an intimate way, then we will receive the healing that we need!
In Matthew it says that Jesus spoke to some and said that in the last day, they will stand before God and God will tell them to depart for He didn’t KNOW them:
Matthew 7:21- 23;
“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
The reason why God will reject these men is because their relationship is based on the Church to know God, instead of having an intimate relationship with God Himself!! Notice they said, “Have WE not …” They didn’t say, LORD, I knew you in such a way that You spoke through me and used me to speak prophesies and cast out devils, etc…
The men in Matthew 7 were relying on what others did for God to get them into the kingdom!! God is saying He must KNOW US in order for US to KNOW Him!!
So why don’t you ask God yourself? Ask Him if He knows you the way He wants to!! And then get to KNOW HIM more intimately!!
I guarantee you that if you do, your life will be more complete, more fulfilled, and you will know LOVE, JOY AND PEACE like you have never known before!!
BELIEVE ME — IT WORKS!!

RESISTING¤º°¨ *¨°º¤ TEMPTATIONS
TO OVERCOME TEMPTATION, RECOGNIZE ITS SOURCE ~ Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. ~ James 1:13-15.
James nails that fallacious and sinful line of blame shifting. He says, “God cannot be tempted by evil.” It is impossible because of His holy nature. “God is Light, and in Him is no darkness at all” (1John 1:5). “Your eyes are too pure to approve evil, and You cannot look on wickedness with favor” (Hab. 1:13a).
Since God cannot be tempted by evil, it follows that “He Himself does not tempt anyone” (James 1:13b). If we want to overcome temptation, we must at the outset put out of our minds all shifting of blame, especially, blaming God. Then where does temptation come from??? Temptation comes from our own sinful desires.
To overcome temptation, it is important to realize that although the initial thought to sin stems from my sinful flesh, it is not sin unless I pursued!
Stop those sinful thoughts Immediately DO NOT entertain sinful thoughts BANISH THESE THOUGHTS THE MINUTE THEY POP UP. If we make it our habit to take “every thought captive to the obedience of Christ” (2nd Corinthians 10:5), we will not sin in thought or deed. ~ RESIST THE DEVIL *USE WISDOM *YIELD NOT TO TEMPTATION FOR YIELDING LEADS TO SIN!
